In Kelly's hometown Chicago, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx addressed reporters Tuesday afternoon after her office had been inundated with calls about the allegations in the documentary, some tied to his Chicago-area home.

On a night he was facing a protest in his hometown of Chicago, singer R. Kelly appeared to be partying at a local club, where he proclaimed he's not concerned with the controversy brewing around him. Midwest Commercial Funding owns the building and originally filed the eviction lawsuit in July of 2018. Kelly has denied the allegations and reportedly threatened to sue Lifetime before the series went to air. Once Kelly is out, the studio would go on the market for $3.9 million.

Meanwhile, new accusations have surfaced, but this time made against R. Kelly's manager. While Foxx said that her office has not been in contact with Fulton County, they are willing to share any "relevant information" between their offices.

She also commented on the partnership during a press conference in Japan.

Produced by Detroit native dream hampton, the six-part series aired on Lifetime over three-nights, exploring the two decades of allegations levied against the 52-year-old singer and producer ranging from abuse, rape, and pedophilia. "I'm sickened as a prosecutor", she said. "I intend to remove this song off iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again", Gaga writes in her tweet (as of 10:30pm Pacific on January 9, the song can still be accessed on Spotify and iTunes). I was sickened as a mother. I was sickened as a survivor. The Savages claim they have not seen their daughter in two years. The office said it is "reviewing and following up" on the calls, but has no additional information at this time.

"There are no underage women, there is no sex cult, it's all some reality TV made up story", Greenberg said. Rather, he was acquitted on child pornography charges in 2008. The families of the women in his alleged sex cult are reportedly anxious if the girls travel out of the country with Kelly they may never see them again.

Greenberg says the state's attorney shouldn't be soliciting cases, adding there are no current complaints and no evidence because it didn't happen.
