Finishing the year with a bang, prolific leaker Evan Blass has revealed a crisp render of an upcoming Nokia smartphone. The photo gives away an in-screen finger print sensor and a seven-ring, five-camera rear setup which looks beyond anything else we've seen in mobile. The Nokia flagship is slated to release in the last week of January, 2019.

We don't have a price yet, but personally, we will not be buying the Nokia 9 PureView even if it's 99p.

As for the display, the Nokia 9 PureView will sport a 5.99-inch 2K display. Nokia doesn't seem quite ready to release any official details about the rumoured Nokia 9 PureView, but a new, high-res video shows why it might be the first noteworthy smartphone of 2019.

"Is that an LG G6 slapped with a five-camera setup on the back?" a comment reads.

128GB base model As per the leaked promo video, while the 6GB RAM version would come with 128GB storage, the 8GB RAM version may feature 256GB storage. Further, according to the buzz, the phone will have a metal frame with glass panels covering the front and back sides. The main highlight of the device will be its camera.

The camera specs aren't mentioned, but we've got Zeiss optics at play.

The Nokia 9 PureView will not be a notched display like some of the recently launched Nokia phones like Nokia 8.1, Nokia 7.1 and the rest. The phone will get two years of guaranteed Android updates, being an Android One device, and will launch with Android 9.0 Pie on board.

Another interesting reveal is that it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the latest set of information making way to the web suggest it to feature a 19:9 aspect ratio screen without a notch. Previously, on the hardware front the Nokia 9 was tipped to come with Snapdragon 845 chipset, but now rumours suggest that it could be the first phone from HMD to come with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855.
