Moreover, the "Monster Hunter World" anniversary event will run on all platforms, namely PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The latest update may be the biggest one yet, as the monster slayer Geralt of Rivia from the hit RPG series, The Witcher, makes his way into the New World. There has yet to be any information on if/when Geralt will make his way over to the PC version.

The free Witcher crossover for Monster Hunter: World has penciled in February 8, 2019 for its release day.

Lastly, we've yet to hear from Capcom about the release date of the "Monster Hunter World" expansion patch, Iceborne. However, one would assume that they lean more towards Geralt's impressive monster hunting skills, and less towards his talents for seduction and Gwent, though until the event launches we technically can't say for sure...

In case you missed it, here's the trailer for the event.

Offering slightly more tangible clues about the team-up, CD Projekt RED noted that the Monster Hunter x Witcher update "will span a series of Witcher-inspired quests", with voice actor Doug Cockle reprising his role as expected. At this point, fans are looking for the popular protagonist in places that aren't quite expected.
