Former actress and the newest member of the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle, ended her acting career when she married Prince Harry previous year, but rumors are circulating the Duchess of Sussex could be back for a very special Suits episode.

Now there have been reports that the show's bosses are attempting to lure her back to acting for one final cameo appearance.

It's believed that since Markle and her co-star Patrick J. Adams have departed "Suits" at the end of season seven, they could potentially make a one-off return in season nine.

The scene would be no longer than two minutes and would be shot in the United Kingdom to accommodate the Duchess' busy schedule, according to executives at entertainment giant NBC Universal.

Markle starred in the TV programme as NY paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane from 2010 but left the show after seven series. "There are no plans for her to return to the show".

An insider of the show confirmed to that "the show has not made a multi-million dollar charity donation offer to Meghan to return for a cameo". Tick tock, Kensington Palace.

A senior production source told the Daily Star that negotiations were likely to be opened in the near future and the figure was likely to be between two and six million dollars.

According to the publication, she couldn't accept the cash due to tax issues but could donate the money to a charity.

Markle's final Suits episode aired in April 2018, just one month before her wedding to Prince Harry.

The duchess left the show to focus on charity projects and become a fully integrated member of the royal family, who are required to keep their social lives private and are generally not permitted to have social media accounts.

Markle's appearance could potentially fit into the story nicely, with her being happily pregnant, and enjoying her new life living in the UK.
