"The epilogue and secret movie are video content that will enhance player's enjoyment of the world of #KingdomHearts", a tweet from the company reads. The majority of Kingdom Hearts games do not feature co-op or multiplayer, because the game is designed like a standard RPG, and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be no different. Players will be able to access the Memory Archive at leisure in the game's title menu.

The various Kingdoms Hearts Twitter accounts have released a post-launch schedule for the game and it looks like the Kingdom Hearts 3 secret ending won't be available from the off. To view this video, players will have to beat the game and see the regular ending to unlock it. The "Memory Archives" feature will be unlocked in the USA on January 29th.

Kingdom Hearts III launches in Japan ahead of the worldwide release on January 25, 2019. This was followed by another that claims the epilogue and post-credits secret movie to be "additional elements" implying that Kingdom Hearts 3's epilogue isn't core or intrinsic to the game's experience. The first, scheduled for release alongside the game on January 29, will be the typical bug fixes along with a "Memory Archive" story recap. The most faithful Keyblade wielders among you probably heard about last month's leak, and Square was quick to let us know the epilogue wasn't on the game disc so the game's biggest spoilers can't be leaked. The Japanese secret video update will be the final piece of the puzzle and arrive on January 31, 2019.

The Memory Archive is a collection of Kingdom Hearts moments that aim to tell the story so far, both for new Kingdom Hearts players and those returning, who require a quick refresher.

January 30: Epilogue video for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released.
