Callum Hudson-Odoi: The Chelsea youngster's story so far

Chelsea's early season form left some wondering if they could mount an unexpected Premier League title challenge, however, having lost three of their last seven league games, including last nights 4-0 humiliation to Bournemouth, they have fallen out of the top four completely, with a resurgent Manchester United also breathing down their necks.

"I think the situation is that Drinkwater for me is not suitable for a midfield with two other midfielders", Sarri said in November.

The visitors dominated possession in the first half but they were unable to break down the Cherries, who scored four goals in the second half.

Sarri locked his Chelsea squad in the dressing room at the Vitality Stadium for 50 minutes on Wednesday night as he attempted to get to the bottom of yet another limp, lifeless display.

Chelsea dominated much of the first half but were abysmal in the second.

His side, with Gonzalo Higuain given a Premier League debut but then substituted, had controlled the first half.

"The club have told me that, in this transfer window, he will remain with us for sure - very probably in the next window, too, so we are really happy with this."

"Not pressure, I am frustrated because I didn't see the sign of my work so I am frustrated".

A lack of goals from the club's main strikers has been one of the team's principal issues, with Hazard shouldering most of the responsibility for goal-getting and at times being asked to play out of position as a false nine.

"So I have to try again tomorrow because I need to understand why because I need to solve this problem".

Sarri says his side did not play as a team after the break and they "found it hard to accept" going behind.

Usually in today's atmosphere, when an elite team comes calling for a young player, with added reports of a transfer request being handed in, it becomes a worry as the club may be forced to sell.

"Afterwards we spoke as men between the manager and the players". But we can not lose 4-0 to Bournemouth.
