Reports suggest a summer move to Juventus is on the cards, with the Guardian stating on Wednesday that Ramsey has agreed a lucrative five-year deal worth £36m.

The Welshman has spent the last decade at Arsenal, however, discussions over a new deal broke down earlier this season and, with his contract expiring this summer, he has reached an agreement for a move to Turin.

It is claimed Ramsey will earn a whopping €8 million (R128 million) per season at the Italian side, which would make him Juve's second-highest earner behind Ronaldo.

It's a great transfer for Aaron Ramsey.

Juventus have organised a signing ceremony for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey for next week. Arsenal will regret seeing a player in the prime of his career leave under these circumstances.

"In the last match I was very happy with him".

"His future is individually for him, for his family, his agent". The Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, also had major reservations about both Özil and Ramsey fitting into his plans and the style he wants to play.

"Every training day with us he is working very well and I want his behaviour and focus the same for West Ham on Saturday".

Since joining the Gunners from Cardiff City in 2008, the 28-year-old has established himself as a steady presence in the Arsenal midfield, making 252 Premier League appearances in which he scored 52 goals.

Club officials reportedly regretted the £350,000 a week deal given to Mesut Ozil and were determined to avoid a repeat, even if it meant losing a player of Ramsey's ability.
