These include Acer Chromebook 315 with 15.6-inch display and two new convertible gaming notebooks - Acer Predator TriTon 500 and Predator TriTon 900.

The specs are strong: An Intel Core i7-8750H processor, 16/32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and an Nvidia RTX2080 graphics card with 8GB of RAM. The Predator Triton 900 is a gaming notebook convertible, and the Acer Chromebook 315 is the first ever Chromebook from the Acer stable equipped with an AMD processor. I'm not sure ergonomics is top of mind for most gamers who are willing to shell out $4,000 for a laptop, but it can't hurt either.

We also like the look of the more affordable Predator Triton 500, which puts the touchpad in another acceptable location - right below the keyboard. A 17-inch tablet, in that case. Acer Predator TriTon 500: Price, specs and availability It features a 15.6-inch full HD display with 81% screen-to-body ratio. It offer up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, NVMe PCIe RAID 0 SSDs, and up to 32GB DDR4 memory.

This might sound like odd design for a gaming machine, but Acer wants users - non-gaming users - to take advatange of the processing power and touchscreen. Add in support for NVIDIA G-Sync, and you've got a pretty darn powerful gaming machine for the road.

For those that may not be completely sold on PC gaming or just really enjoy the feel of a controller in hand, an Xbox wireless receiver is included so that games on Windows 10 can be played with an Xbox controller. Waves audio is also included, including Waves Nx with head tracking for a 3D audio experience. We were able to snag some hands-on time with the more traditional-looking laptop of the two, the Triton 500.

And here's an interesting value-add: Later this year, Acer will publish a PredatorSense Mobile app that allows remote control of some of the laptop's functions: overclocking, fan speed, lighting profiles and audio.

The Acer Predator Triton 900 will be made available in March in North America, EMEA and China with prices starting at $3,999 (approximately Rs 2,80,000), 4,199 Euros (approximately Rs 3,36,000) and 39,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 4,00,000), respectively.
