With two injuries how will Chelsea line up against Wolves on Wednesday?

When Sarri opted to make a second-half change in search of an equaliser following Wolves' impressive turnaround, it was not Loftus-Cheek but N'Golo Kante who made way for Mateo Kovacic.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, handed his first league start of the campaign, had put the Blues ahead in the 18th minute with a heavily deflected effort - his second goal in four days after netting in Sunday's 2-0 win over Fulham.

Sarri told his post-match press conference: "I think that we played very well for 55 minutes".

Wolverhampton Wanderers end their six-match winless run in the Premier League with a 2-1 comeback victory over Chelsea at Molineux. I am really very anxious for this, not for the result.

"I don't know about that, but we could have scored four or five goals and we missed them", he said. "When I am on the pitch I can't have any negative thoughts when I am in and around the team because it will affect the team". "It was without reaction, we can lose a match, but not without a reaction".

Sarri also conceded City are out of sight with his side battling for a Champions League spot. And his team are placed just behind the high flying Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Mirror reports that the player's immediate future is still unclear as we approach the January transfer window. "It is a very hard result for the top four".

But two goals in four second-half minutes by Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota brought a dramatic turnaround after the visitors had wasted several opportunities to close out the game. Alvaro Morata once again looked ill-suited to the intensity of a night like this.

It lifted Wolves up to 12th and was their first win for two months after five defeats in their previous six games, but Nuno insists his side still have a long way to go.

"It was a good performance, even in the first half when we were behind", Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo said.

"Credit to the boys for the way they believed and the way they worked, and for the fans - how they became so noisy and pushed the team".
