The Washington Redskins have a quarterback problem.

One of Washington's most famous fans has an idea that many have brought up, as Kevin Durant took to Instagram to call on the Redskins to sign Colin Kaepernick with a very simple message on his Story.

Starting quarterback Alex Smith's season ended after he broke his fibula and tibia against the Texans in Week 11.

"We wanted a guy with a similar skill set with Colt", Gruden said.

Once McCoy got injured, the Redskins must've scrapped the entire game plan and decided Sanchez would throw them into a victory, which he did not as he finished the game 13-21 for 100-yards and 1 interception.

Gruden added: "He's been talked about and discussed, but we'll probably go in a different direction". "Not that Colin can't do some of the things that I'm talking about, but somebody with a little bit of familiarity". Yates before going with Sanchez.

Gruden also said McCoy might return this season.

Here's a look at the two plays he managed to complete with the broken leg.

Johnson hasn't seen much regular-season action since his first three seasons with the Buccaneers, but when he dons the burgundy and gold, it will be the 12th National Football League uniform Johnson has worn during his career.

Gruden said the Redskins would be bringing in a couple of unemployed quarterbacks for workouts later Tuesday and then would decide among them and those street free agents that tried out last month when Sanchez was signed.
