Midfielder Isco then extended the advantage three minutes into the second half, netting his first since September a year ago, while Vinicius Jr. scored his maiden goal for the Spanish giants as Madrid strolled into the next round easily.

Santiago Solari fielded a much-changed XI to face the African coast club who they'd already defeated 4-0 in the first leg back in October.

After the interval, Isco joined Asensio in hitting a double - netting either side of Vinicius Junior getting in on the act, with Isco's first a sublime strike from 25 yards that drew warm applause from Solari.

The skillful midfielder who also captained his side during the tie scored two wonderful goals in the second half and was also decisive in the final third during the encounter. "That's what we all want to see out on the field against Melilla".

The second half saw Llorente and Carvajal taken off in place of Ceballos and Garcia, and Ceballos had an instant impact, setting up the night's captain, who smashed a handsome effort into the top corner in very Isco-esque manner to make it four.

"That division is very underestimated and there are teams that play very good football".

Solari gave little away in terms of team selection, but Castilla players Javi Sanchez, Fidalgo and Cristo have been included in his squad.

Isco joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 and has so far played over 165 La Liga matches for the club.

UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid have revealed their squad for the FIFA Club Word Cup later this month.
