Otherwise referred to as a punch-hole design, the camera cutout sits in the upper-left corner of the phone. Much like the Galaxy S9 series, the Galaxy S10 family is expected to utilize the earpiece as another speaker when necessary and hence deliver a stereo audio experience which should once again be optimized by AKG, the Austrian subsidiary of Samsung-owned technology giant Harman.

Samsung Nigeria posted a video on Twitter promoting the Galaxy Note9 - one of its flagships for 2018.

Huawei has chose to take a leap and be the first smartphone maker to unveil a device with Samsung's Infinity-O display. There's also a headphone jack on the bottom edge of the rendered phone.

Some models of the Galaxy S10 have been rumoured to come with the firm's newly-revealed Infinity-O display that would present Android fans with a device that is both bezel and notch-free.

Instead of an optical in-display fingerprint scanner the S10 deploys a more sophisticated ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor that is supposed to be faster and more accurate than the former.

However, the fourth variant, codenamed "Beyond X", will feature a large 6.7-inch display and two front-facing cameras.

Samsung and Verizon announced on Monday that the two companies are partnering to bring one of the first 5G smartphones to the market.

Apple's delay makes it easier for Samsung and Verizon to win customers who are eager to connect to 5G networks, which will provide a leap forward in mobile data speeds when they are introduced in 2019.

Details on the smartphone itself are scant, but the announcement fits with previous reports of Samsung and Verizon working on a 5G-enabled Galaxy S10. The Galaxy S10 family is expected to be unveiled at the next iteration of Mobile World Congress which is kicking off in Barcelona, Spain, in late February.
