Liverpool thought they had won the game three minutes earlier when van Dijk headed on a corner and Origi turned a hard chance onto the Everton bar, with home supporters appealing for a penalty after Daniel Sturridge's follow-up shot appeared to strike Gylfi Sigurdsson on the arm.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane looks set to sit out their visit to Burnley on Wednesday, after reports that a cut sustained to his foot in the win over Everton kept him out of training on Monday.

"It's absolutely OK, to be honest", he said.

The Anfield boss has accepted a Football Association charge of misconduct after he ran to the centre circle in the aftermath of Divock Origi's 96th-minute goal which secured a 1-0 victory.

"I don't think anybody thought it's massively wrong or whatever, not even the ref - they were probably surprised themselves".

Now I just want to increase my number of games. I don't know how the ball is not in in the first half. How [is] always, we could have done better in a few moments.

'He [Jurgen Klopp] did not give a lot of explanations, but in training I talked so I would not be discouraged and concentrate on work, without lowering my head, [I knew] the opportunities could come in, ' Fabinho told UOL.

"Very intense game and obviously a much nicer finish for us". That is the positive we have to take. They are just an outstanding side and it was a hard game today. He got unlucky. He has been brilliant for us.

We will have our day ladies & gents, in the space of four months, Silva has transformed us into a team who can firstly compete, then move onto the next step of standing toe to toe at away grounds of the top 4-6.

Silva said klopp didn't apologise no class very proud the way we played they wont win sweet fa under klopp. But Marco Silva introduced young winger Ademola Lookman off the Everton bench and his side's attacking threat instantly improved. The midfielder went down injured during injury time and the extra time added on helped the Reds' cause. We feel in a good moment.
