Conceptualising Mortal Kombat 11started while making MK X. They were always thought to be back-to-back games in terms of story.

Mortal Kombat 11 will also include another chapter in the series' trademark cinematic story mode, continuing the "epic saga" that's been more than 25 years in the making. While the new addition to the franchise offers a wide range of new and returning Klassic characters, the graphics engine promises to enhance more than ever, every minute detail of the violence that the game is known for.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due to hit Steam on April 23rd, priced at £50/€60/$60. It will be livestreamed globally on NetherRealm's Twitch channel and will feature a keynote presentation. According to the developers, Mortal Kombat 11 lets players build their own customized versions of each character with unique attacks and special moves. The song playing during the Mortal Kombat 11 trailer is called "Immortal" by 21 Savage. Our Custom Character Variation System opens up an infinite amount of options for players to personalize their favorite fighters. What's more is, we have a Mortal Kombat 11 release date too.
