The last player to do that was the Raiders' Jim Breech. The Chargers boast three pass catchers between 6'2 and 6'4 who can all high point passes and blow the top off of a defense, Mike Williams and Tyrell Williams alone averaging over eighteen yards per catch.

Richards has had stints on Los Angeles' practice squad the past two seasons. Another victory for the surging Chargers, holding off Wilson's late rally for a 25-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Running back Melvin Gordon added 113 yards and a touchdown on the ground. "I thought it was dominating, outside the points we missed, but pretty great".

Chris Carson started off well, but he left the game midway through the second quarter with an aggravated hip injury.

Carson was a key contributor to the Seahawks' offense before his premature exit from the game, as he had 40 rushing yards on just eight carries, which included a 15-yard gallop.

But then they were part of the issue on Los Angeles running the ball so well. Seattle played the second half without starting strong safety Bradley McDougald due to a knee injury. Most analysts figured he would be a full go coming off an extra week to rest but given his status for Sunday, experts fear that Gordon's injury is more severe than initial reports have implied.

On the Seahawks side, Sebastian Janikowski missed one of his two field goal attempts, but made both of his extra point tries.

And Seattle's own run game was spotty. "Let's wait and see what happens", Carroll said.
