Packers’ Aaron Rodgers says Aaron Jones needs to be given more opportunities

"Mr. Jones, yeah, he's a great back", Bell said.

The Dolphins go from No. 18 to No. 22 this week.

A slashing style and an explosive burst through the hole make Jones a threat to bust a big run on any carry. The Packers' passing game will take off over the final seven games if Jones can continually put the offense in favorable down-and-distances.

"It puts the defense in a bind; it puts them to where they've got to load up that box and it allows us to have more opportunities outside", said Adams, who has seen increased double-teams this season. At one point, each team had four scores, but the Packers had four touchdown and the Dolphins had four field goals.

"But I'm going to focus on the things I can control and that's finding a way to get better as an individual, as a quarterback", he said.

In fact, Green Bay is looking pretty banged up heading into Week 10's crucial matchup at home. On the very first play of the drive, Jones rattled off a 67-yard run, putting the Packers at first-and-goal inside the 5-yard line.

"At this level in the National Football League, I'll take it every day", said Jones, who built upon his NFL-best 6.0 yards per carry by averaging 9.7 on Sunday. Rodgers hit receiver Davante Adams for a 7-yard touchdown pass to give the Packers a quick 7-0 lead.

Adams had four catches for 57 yards.

Asked about the difference in the red zone, Rodgers said, "Really running the ball I think, because we've been throwing it so many times in the red zone". Ryan Tannehill remains inactive due to injury so Osweiler will get his fifth start after splitting his first four. He broke a tie with Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton. In just five plays and 2:10, the Packers were back in the end zone with a 10-yard run by Jones, his second of the day.

Pass protection has been an underrated part of Jones' game, and with performances like he had against the Dolphins, it'll only help his chances of seeing the field for extended periods. Miami forced two turnovers on special teams, blocking a punt and forcing Tramon Williams to fumble on a return for good field position each time. "Guys with vision to the football, which means you always have to be smart about your eye discipline". In the fourth quarter, Breeland left with a groin injury.

Packers: A defense already missing CB Kevin King (hamstring) lost two more starters in the first half when S Kentrell Brice departed with an ankle injury and linebacker Nick Perry limped off with a knee injury.

Gase and Tannehill hope the starting quarterback can return after the upcoming bye week to play at Indianapolis on November 25. They will have a short week of practice before taking on the Seattle Seahawks on the road Thursday night.
