The OnePlus 6T is also available in a $630 model that comes in the matte Midnight Black color option with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. According to the company, OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition takes design inspiration from "lightning strikes at dusk". It will be available on, at 2 PM, and in Croma outlets, Reliance Digital outlets and all OnePlus exclusive offline stores starting 11 AM. You won't be stuck paying any additional money for the privilege of owning a purple phone, as this model costs $579.

As mentioned, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple price in India is set at Rs. 41,999 and is available in only an 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage configuration. Because it turns out that an early deal launching later this week will get you a brand new OnePlus 6T from T-Mobile for free.

The Thunder Purple trim is special as it has a two-tone gradient finish- purple and black-which changes its shade at different angles. Now, OnePlus 6T offered a bigger display with a water-drop style notch compared to the OnePlus 6 which had a full blown one.

So, either of the two will happen, OnePlus 7 may come at a higher price, which is unlikely, or the company may launch a new smartphone under a separate series. In this case, the upcoming OnePlus 6T SKU is not a solid purple, hence the Thunder Purple descriptor. "Discover what a fast and smooth experience is all about with Screen Unlock, the fastest in-display fingerprint sensor in the world". But, OnePlus 7 might not be the first smartphone to have an in-display front camera with a cut out in the display. On the back is a dual camera setup - 16 and 20 megapixels - and on the front is a respectable 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

Backing the device is a 3,750mAh battery with OnePlus' proprietary Dash Charge. There is a USB Type-C port on the smartphone, and it comes with Bluetooth v5.0 support.
