They say their "hearts are broken" and say they are "devastated that her life was cut short in this manner".

Hours later, Tamera tweeted, "We haven't found her yet. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for privacy at this time".

The niece of Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley has been confirmed as one of the victims killed in Wednesday night's shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in California.

A college student named Ashley took to Twitter to reveal that her suitemate was still missing after the attack, and Tamera responded to reveal her connection to the woman in Ashley's photo.

People comfort each other as they stand near the scene, November 8, 2018, in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where a gunman opened fire Wednesday inside a country dance bar crowded with hundreds of people on "college night".

Numerous victims' names have not been released.

According to Andrea Castillo, a Los Angeles Times reporter, Adam has been to the Los Robles Regional Medical Center to look for Alaina.

Housley wrote, "Staying positive and praying and hoping and wishing there was more I could do".

"My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead", her anxious uncle, Adam Housley, told an LA Times reporter outside the Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he was looking for his niece. "Can you please DM me your information?" the actress asked. "Please pray. I am numb", she posted.

"I've been in contact with Adam, unfortunately there's nothing new to report at the moment", she wrote to Mowry-Housley.

"Yes, all the other girls are safe", she responded to the actress.

Adam has since taken to Twitter to ask his followers for prayers for his niece, who he described as "a attractive soul".

Tamera's twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardict, shared her shock and horror about the news on social media as well. Please pray. Please pray. "We love u! If you know anything of any information please let us know". "We love you!", she added along with a sweet snapshot with the missing girl.
