Michelle Obama reveals fertility challenges and how IVF helped her conceive daughters

Obama also says she was surprised that so many American women voted for the "misogynist" Trump over Hillary Clinton, "an exceptionally qualified female candidate", in the 2016 election.

"I felt like I failed because I didn't know how common miscarriages were because we don't talk about them", the 54-year-old shared.

She said it was at that point she and husband Barack realized: 'We had to do IVF'.

"And I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama, who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other, we work on our marriage".

Former United States of America (USA) first lady, Michelle Obama, has opened up on her hard and painful journey while being ushered to motherhood.

He said that he would "never forgive" Mr Obama "for what he did to our military".

In the book, Obama blasts Trump repeatedly but especially for fomenting hatred against husband Barak for the so-called "birther campaign", in which the then Presidential hopeful publicly raised speculation about whether or not Barack was actually born in the U.S.
