It seems as though Kanye West was truly inspired by his partner-in-rhyme Kid Cudi after the two hit the stage to perform tracks from their Kids See Ghosts album at Camp Flog Gnaw over the weekend.

The comments were a rare reaction from the New Zealand pop star, who recently withdrew her social media presence.

Many fans loved it. Others, like Lorde were less insane about the design.

Lorde compared the pair on her Instagram story this morning, finally ending with a photo from her tour, and the demanded people do not steal from others, especially women.

Lorde saw something familiar when she watched Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts set at the 2018 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.

Wendy Williams, 54, actually laughed when she heard that Lorde, 22, accused Kanye West, 41, of stealing her set design at his recent concert. He debuted his suspended, tilting stage in August 2016 as part of his Saint Pablo world tour.

Her posts may have shocked some fans as Lorde has heaped praise on Kanye in the past and she even worked with the controversial rapper on a remix of her song Yellow Flicker Beat back in 2014.

According to her Instagram story, Lorde was one of those observers.

"After performing again, I realise the new album I've been working on isn't ready yet".

The floating stage used in Lorde's set-up was designed collaboratively with Es Devlin. "Thank you for understanding".
