Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama has revealed why she hated her first trip to Kenya in her new book titled Becoming.

"When you're in the residence, there's so much bulletproof glass that sometimes you don't hear what's going on outside", she recalled.

The autobiography takes readers on an honest and compelling journey from Obama's childhood to living in one of the world's - if not the most - famous addresses, The White House.

Before wrapping up the interview, Kimmel handed Obama several outlandish statements he insisted she could read out loud because she's no longer the first lady. And my staff was calling me, everybody was celebrating, people were crying, and I thought, I want to be in that. Michelle Obama said while smirking. Instead, the Obamas' eldest daughter Malia made a decision to join. "And we were having dinner and we know there was a celebration happening but we didn't realize that thousands of people were gathering in front of the White House at that time to celebrate".

She also quipped: "I'm not sure which one is Sasha and which one is Malia", adding an ad-lib: "You know?" But she also happens to be brilliant, funny, wise - one of a kind. When he gave up his powers to save Lois Lane's life and then he was powerless and then he got beat up in a diner, and he had to get his powers back to come save us from Lex Luther. But we just took it in. "I don't think we have anything in common", she continued. This book tells her quintessentially American story.
