If you are looking to try out Destiny 2 on PC this is the time to download it. In partnership with Blizzard, Bungie is offering Destiny 2 completely free, forever, as long as you snag the game before November 18. Initially, the Opening Ceremony crowd live at BlizzCon booed Steve Cotton, but the atmosphere of the room did a complete 180 following the announcement.

The fanbase is set to grow as new Guardians will be able to enter the world of Destiny 2 for free in November. So, considering how this particular distribution method worked out well for Bungie when D2 went free for a month on PS4-the game managed to top digital console sales for September-it wouldn't be too surprising if PC fans wind up dropping some coin on the DLCs in order to keep playing.

In order to redeem your free copy, just head to this page, log in to your Blizzard account (or create one), and click on the big blue CLAIM button on the Destiny 2 gift you should have received.

This new loot will become available in December, to commemorate the first anniversary of being on Battle.net.

The PC version of Destiny 2, which is available on Blizzard's Battle.net service, will be available as a Gift from November 2 through November 18.

Bungie is also rewarding existing owners of Destiny 2 PC. Minimum system requirements for the PC game are an Intel Core i3-3250, Intel Pentium G4560, or an AMD FX-4350, along with a GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 1050 2GB, or Radeon HD 7850. Additionally, 6GB of RAM, and 68GB of HDD space.
