Marvel revitalized the comics business with a series of flawed, more human superheroes. "What a life and what a thing to have achieved", the Spider-Man star wrote on Instagram.


Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds tweeted: "Damn".

Jordan is opening up about the loss of Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee.

"Every time you open a Marvel comic, Stan will be there", it said.

"So for us, it's finding great stories whether people have heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in as an incredible way as we can".

Chairman and CEO Bob Iger added: "Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created. The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart".


Lee has had enormous influence on pop culture, most recently thanks to the box office-busting Marvel films.

"You have this incredibly powerful creature having to deal with the prejudices that we have as humanity have and just question why is this like this", Rudy said.

"Stan was a great friend and a true legend. He made an impact on so many different people, [and] literally changed the face of entertainment in so many different ways".

"Feige teased: "[I can say] very little when it comes to Eternals, but I will say your reaction about not being familiar with The Eternals is flawless because most people weren't familiar with Guardians and believe it or not there were people who were not familiar with Avengers or with Iron Man. Lee. His wife of 70 years, Joan B. Lee, who could be seen making a cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016 along with her husband, died in July 2017.

Dozens of Marvel Comics movies, with almost all the major characters Lee created, were produced in the first decades of the 21st century, grossing over $20 billion USA at theatres worldwide, according to box office analysts.
