Blizzard announces Diablo Immortal, coming to Android

Diablo Immortal will be available on Android and iOS and for those that want to try out the game before its release, Blizzard is accepting applications for future beta tests. There were even rumors regarding Blizzard working on a Diablo tabletop-esque game for PC. It may not be the Diablo fans were expecting, but could potentially keep fans entertained until Diablo 4's eventual release.

In a recent interview with Polygon, Allen Adham, executive producer and Blizzard co-founder, and Dan Eggren, production director, discussed the response many had to the announcement of Diablo: Immortal and more They made it quite clear that the new mobile game is only one of many Diablo titles that are now in development. Blizzard last night announced Diablo Immortal, a new entry in the action-RPG series. for... If you ever wanted to know what a particular character was up to between Diablo 2 or 3 or how a certain group got started, Diablo Immortal will answer those questions.

Now, you probably wonder just how social Diablo Immortal will be.


The story in Diablo Immortal focuses on the aftermath of the destruction of the Worldstone in Diablo II with demonic invaders trying to bring back a rule of terror.

In their quest to cleanse Sanctuary, players will embark on all manner of thrilling expeditions, including taking part in dynamic events across unique public zones, and hacking and slashing their way through instanced dungeons.

The massively multiplayer spin-off will allow over a dozen players to fight together with 6 familiar classes. Just as he's about be killed, he's saved by another of Diablo III's classes, the Wizard.
