Thugs of Hindostan, the solo Diwali release, was one of the most awaited releases of this year.

Though who watched the pirated copies of Thugs of Hindostan, say that the movie has been shot from a handy camera with average print quality while some have made HD quality prints available.

Although a lot of viewers have agreed that this is Katrina's best film yet, she has acted really well in the FIVE scenes she's been given and same goes for Fatima Sana Sheikh (the girl from Dangal), who is much better in the action scenes, and has barely been given 10 lines in the film.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has however given it just two stars, saying the movie was disappointing and all that glitters is gold. Holds true for #TOH.

He also tweeted, #ThugsOfHindostan may reap the benefit of the holiday period + tremendous hype + impressive names in its cast. He termed the movie as a formula-ridden plot, and a screenplay of convenience, with shoddy direction being the main culprits.

With the critics and general audience lambasting several aspects of the film, Thugs of Hindostan looks to be staring down the barrel to reach the expected magic numbers at the box office.

A few others even came down hard on the performances of the leading cast and labelled the film as boring and a let-down.

As per the early trends, Thugs Of Hindostan has started its record breaking journey on a flying note by collecting around 50 crores, on its opening day.

The trailer of Thug of Hindostan had the audiences divided.

Bollywood's answer to Pirates of the Caribbean, the swashbuckling, star-studded Thugs of Hindostan sails into cinemas tomorrow, battling British colonisers on a quest for loot and box office records.
