Cena, the 16-time WWE world champion, has been given a place in the World Cup tournament the WWE are holding at the King Saud University Stadium on November 2.

Michaels helped Triple H defeat The Undertaker in front of over 50,000 fans at the MCG, before Undertaker and Kane destroyed the pair after the match.

The return will mark Michaels' first match since he lost his retirement match to Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. Kurt Angle and John Cena have already qualified for the tournament, with Angle duping Baron Corbin on Raw to win a battle royal and Cena simply being announced as an entrant.

Michaels and partner Triple H, now 49, reformed D-Generation X on Raw.

The historic WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia will feature a monumental one-night World Cup Tournament, featuring eight of the top Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE battling it out to determine the best in the world. While some WWE fans are excited to see the return of DX, others feel that Michaels is tarnishing his ideal send-off from the business at WrestleMania XXVI. Following the sold-out Greatest Royal Rumble in April, this is the second event as part of a long-term partnership between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. "If you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya".
