Kanye West went on an epic rant in front of President Donald Trump and reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday afternoon.

West also mentioned North Korea and said, to Trump, "You stopped the war".

In a wild, 10-minute soliloquy, West also launched at least one F-bomb in the Oval Office, described his rhetorical style as "fine wine" with "complex notes", and said he had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder and was actually sleep deprived which can lead to dementia.

West replied: "It was from the soul".

"Kanye West gets it", Trump said.

Trump added that West could "speak for me any time he wants".

Kanye's visit follows by several months a similar trip to the White House by his celebrity wife, Kim Kardashian West, who met with Trump on May 30 and persuaded him to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug charge in Tennessee.

Kanye's public support of the controversial U.S. President has sparked outrage among fans and his fellow musicians, as have his outlandish comments on slavery and America's Constitution.

Trump had said that "stop-and-frisk works".

"There were people who said Trump would never win", West said in the interview.

"There is something about when I put this [MAGA] hat on that makes me feel like Superman!". West said the focus needs to be on love instead. "When he sees that African-American unemployment is the lowest in history, you know people are watching. It's attractive though." He said that Trump had given him (we assume metaphorically) "a Superman cape" to help do good.

Trump also returned the accolades tweeting in April, "Kanye West has performed a great service to the Black Community - Big things are happening and eyes are being opened for the first time in Decades - Legacy stuff".
