OnePlus 6T will made its global debut in India on October 30. So after deep reflection, we have made a decision to move the OnePlus 6T Launch Event in New York City to October 29, " said Lau in his post on the OnePlus forums.

October 29 is now OnePlus 6T day! As OnePlus events are filled with attendees from all over the world - both by the media and OnePlus fans - the movement of the date this late in the game will likely cause major travel and lodging issues for many.

"To those affected, we know sorry isn't good enough".

We're not entirely sure of how the process will work, but Lau mentioned in his post that the OnePlus team will contact every ticket owner individually to help them work things out.

The company likes to have fans, who purchase tickets to attend events, on hand, as it did for last year's OnePlus 5T launch. "Everyone who owns a ticket will be able to apply for a full refund for their ticket". However, PCMag has learned that the OnePlus 6T might also support Verizon when it launches in the coming weeks.

OnePlus has confirmed that the launch date has been changed only for its USA event and that its India event on October 30 will be held as announced earlier. The OnePlus 6T is going to deliver a new design, and it'll be the first OnePlus phone to sell with a United States carrier.

If you're still able to join our event, first of all: Thank you! For others, who would be joining the company at the event, the company said that it would cover all the costs that people attending the event might incur due to change of plans. If you need to pay to move your flight, we've got your back. "We hope that you will understand our decision", Lau said. OnePlus which already is big in markets like India is now betting big on its United States foray.

So far, USA buyers have had no problems connecting OnePlus devices to AT&T or T-Mobile networks, but Verizon support wasn't available. See you October 29, at 11AM EDT.
