It was the first show to be nominated for Emmys in both the drama and comedy categories, Uzo Aduba winning outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for portraying Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren. Even hardcore followers of the series (like my wife) have said that the last two seasons have dropped off in terms of quality.

But she added: 'Season seven you will not be disappointed, it is a season you will not forget and we're going to give you everything and more that you could have ever wanted. thank you, thank you, thank you'.

Debuting in 2013, "Orange Is the New Black" earned an Emmy nomination in 2014 for Outstanding Comedy Series and another in 2015 for Outstanding Drama Series, when it chose to switch genres. It's also been the victor of countless awards, as well as multiple Emmy nominations.

Prepon - who plays Alex Vause - chimed in: 'The final season of Orange, but the one thing is our relationships will continue after the show'.
