"This was a huge move on the part of Meghan's sister to try to see her face to face".

As you may know, the woman was spotted talking to the guards at the gate who seemed to turn her away but still managed to give them a letter for the Duchess.

Samantha has already done several interviews with the media since her arrival in the United Kingdom and she has now reportedly made an attempt to enter Kensington Palace with her partner.

Samantha, being pushed in a wheelchair by her partner, got closer than ever to Harry and Meghan since their lavish marriage in May but the move is likely to cause further ire from the royal side. She handed a letter to one of the guards in the hope they would pass it on.

As fans of the royal family may already know, Meghan Markle's estranged relationship with Samantha and their father, Thomas Markle, has been well-documented in the press.

Samantha first publicly slammed Meghan after her romance with Harry became public knowledge calling her a "social climber" who is "not fit to be a royal".

The 53-year-old's publicist announced the news on Twitter last month and said: "Samantha is coming to the United Kingdom this week, like it or not".

According to The Mirror, Samantha flew into the United Kingdom two weeks ago in an attempt to "make peace" with her younger sibling - this, after slating her actress sister on countless occasions on social media.

During that same trip to the UK, Samantha appeared on a local TV program and apologised to Meghan. She would still have been hurt by not being invited to wedding, but the situation says the shouldn't have "snowballed". She added, "Moving forward, I apologize and I wish things could be different".

Grant alluded to her reasons for writing to Meghan, replying in the comments of the tweet, "The Family spoke out about being treated unjustly by her".
