We knew The CW found the flawless person to play Batwoman when the network first cast Ruby Rose in the role, but now that we've got our first look at her. umm, is it time for the Arrowverse crossover yet?

Designed by Oscar victor Colleen Atwood, the fight-ready Batwoman costume features a winged cape, a red bat symbol across the chest, a utility belt, and, most striking of all, a red wig emerging from the traditional cowl. Though she will be introduced in the crossover event, Rose will then transition into her own Batwoman series, which is now in development for the 2019-20 television season at The CW.

This first look at Batwoman comes as the crossover begins shooting in Vancouver BC.

The CW previously announced that Rose will make her debut as the character for an upcoming crossover with The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow later this December. Should Batwoman be picked up to series, it will join the above-mentioned shows along with Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning in the CW's comic-heavy line-up.

Batwoman, also known as Kate Kane, will also be getting her own show in 2019.

There are a few other things we know about the crossover.

As we reported last month, the crossover's title, "Elseworlds", is a nod to a set of classic DC titles that tend to happen outside of the main storyline (like Gotham by Gaslight or Kingdom Come). She was reintroduced and re-imagined in 2006 in DC's "New 52" as a lesbian.

Earlier this week, producer Greg Berlanti told The Hollywood Reporter that Rose is "terrific in the role, and we're excited for people to see the story".
