Arrow's Stephen Amell tweeted a picture of himself on set with Grant Gustin and Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Superman on Supergirl.

So far we've seen a black-suited Superman, hints at a mystery character that will be dropping by in this other world, and today we've got ourselves a shiny new poster that gives us a little bit of context as to where we're headed.

What is known for certain about "Elseworlds" at this point is that Ruby Rose will debut as Kate Kane/Batwoman during the event. "I think they wanted to do something special since we weren't going to be doing the [Elseworlds] crossovers, You'll see a lot of different sides of the Legends".

Anyway, check out what the black Superman costume looks like in the Arrowverse, courtesy of Stephen Amell. In addition to Hoechlin and Rose, guest stars include Grimm's Elizabeth Tulloch (as Lois Lane), Lost's Jeremy Davies (as Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan) and Cassandra Jean Amell (as Mr. Freeze's wife, Nora). Fans recently got a look at the Orange is the New Black star suited up as the hero in a costume designed by four-time Academy Award victor Colleen Atwood who has also done work on Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl.

The CW has released a new Arrowverse crossover poster that reveals The Flash and Green Arrow switching superhero identities.

The Arrowverse's Elseworlds crossover event takes place December 9-11, beginning with The Flash on Sunday December 9, continuing with Arrow on Monday December 10, and finishing with Supergirl on Tuesday December 11 on The CW.
