Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Requires 50GB Day One Patch

On the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 FAQ, it has been clarified that while the game requires 55 GB of hard disk space after installing the day one update, you will need around 115 GB of hard disk free in order to actually download and install the game. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PS4 bundle India price is Rs. 36,490 and has a release date of October 12, which is the same day Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see if Treyarch decides to increase the amount of multiplayer areas available in the inevitable DLC packs coming for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

In light of the comments from Scronce, it seems as though this was an intended change to discourage players from using the move without worry of any drawbacks. While we've been seeing game sizes increase over the last few years, usually buying a disc means you get to skip some downtime by having the files ready to install.

The easiest way to get around the stumbling block is to simply purchase the digital version of the game and pre-load it. Past expansion packs typically include 4 multiplayer maps and one Zombies map, so perhaps the developer will offer up even more variety for multiplayer fans this time around in order to increase Black Ops 4's post-launch longevity even more so than past entries in the series. On PlayStation 4 you'll need to have more room set aside, though, as it states that for an "optimized download experience" you'll want 112 GB of free hard drive space. "Download speeds may vary based on region, platform, connection type, and the speed of your internet connection". To help counter this a little, Activision is allowing select retailers to start selling the physical versions of the game the day before release.
