Anyway, it had been rumoured that Princess Eugenie would have her sister as her maid-of-honour and this is indeed the case with Princess Beatrice announced as chief bridesmaid.

New details released by Buckingham Palace reveal some important additions to Eugenie and Jack's nuptials, including a description of the wedding cake that has royal fans salivating.

We're delighted to see that Princess Charlotte will also join the bridal party as a bridesmaid and her big brother George will take on the role of page boy.

Fergie has apparently also been informed that she must avoid three members of the royal family on the day: Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Anne.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's eldest two children and Williams' six-year-old daughter, who is known as Teddy, will be among the pageboys and bridesmaids at the celebration in Windsor on Friday.

Princess Eugenie's big day is nearly here!

Joining Prince George as a page boy will be Louis de Givenchy the - son of Zoe De Givenchy Olivier De Givenchy.

The Queen's youngest grandchildren, 14-year-old Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and 10-year-old Viscount Severn will be Special attendants.

Eugenie and Jack got engaged in Nicaragua while on holiday at the beginning of 2018.

Wedding planners are surely preparing contingency plans for stormy weather, which will hopefully hold off until the princess arrives at the Windsor Castle chapel. Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank met at the Swiss resort of Verbier where Eugenie was on a family vacation celebrating her father's 50th birthday.
