Google has scheduled a launch event on October 9 in New York City in which the company is expected to launch next Pixel series of smartphones and more devices.

It's on. The rumoured October 9th launch event in NY has been confirmed this morning with Google sending out press invites for the event. The Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will be among the first devices to launch with Google's latest operating system, Android P, which is now in its final developer preview stage. We're mainly talking about the huge notch in the Pixel 3 XL screen.

Google will unveil its next generation of hardware products on October 9.

This all-glass back panel also seems to imply that the Pixel 3 XL will have wireless charging convenience.

Invitations to a Made By Google launch were sent out late Thursday afternoon. The company has never formally revealed the number of units it ships, but it's believed that 3.9 million devices were sold previous year.

We are also expecting next gen Pixel Buds. Many are expecting a new Pixelbook and a lot more to be part of the itinerary.

Google will not have much new to say about the Pixel 3 XL.

At this point, there's absolutely nothing that we don't already know about the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL.

For imaging, the Pixel 3 XL could also feature a single 12.2 MP rear camera. Note the " 3", an emoticon that could hint at what Google has in store.

The Pixel 3 will come sporting a 5.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. According to Russian blog MobileReview, the regular Pixel 3 would start at $649 and the Pixel 3 XL would have a starting price of $749.

The phone will have 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 630 GPU.

Just a reminder: these are but rumors, so take them all with a grain of salt.
