Thibaut Courtois has felt the need to disrespect his Chelsea teammates even further when discussing his happiness as a Real Madrid player.

"The problem I have is that only one can play in each game but that does not mean the two who are not on the pitch do not have my trust, and they know that".

Lopetegui told me yesterday that I was going to play. "The controversy is made by the press".

Courtois has said that he has an excellent relationship with Navas, and has insisted that he will have to perform to a high level in order to keep the Costa Rica global out of the team.

Courtois has since been second to Real Madrid's Keylor Navas between the sticks. Chelsea, on the other hand, signed Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao as his replacement.

"In training, you see that the level is high", Courtois said to Het Nieuwsblad.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Glove winner's latest comments are unlikely to go down well with the Blues' supporters either, with Courtois boasting of the higher standards at Real Madrid as well as the size of the Bernabeu as compared to Stamford Bridge. "If you look forward you only see a wall of people, while at Stamford Bridge you can still see the sky or the hotel behind the grandstand".

'I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Ramos is the best centre-back in the world.

The La Liga match between Real Madrid and Leganes will be broadcast live beIN Sports. It was a performance that Zidane quoted as one of his most hard moments as Madrid manager and the squad will be eager to make sure that new manager, Julen Lopetegui, doesn't have to suffer a similar humiliation.
