So if you want to play some co-op Splatoon 2 or maybe some ARMS, then you'll need one of these.

You can pre-order the Switch NES controllers on September 18th, and Nintendo says shipments will start in December. What you do get is a list of 20 NES titles, with more to be added to the list over the following months. For example, when playing Super Mario Bros online, you can use a hand-shaped cursor to point out hints to your friends now playing.

"Friends can even watch each other play single-player games online, and "pass the controller" at any time". Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus both cost $59.99 for a year-long subscription, while Nintendo Switch Online is available for $19.99 per year for an individual or $34.99 for families. I'd also recommend the cloud saves for those of you with massive completionist save files (looking at you, Breath of the Wild), so you don't have to worry about them being lost for some reason. We say standard, but that isn't quite the right word to describe it. The app allows players to voice chat with friends while playing certain games, with the example shown as Mario Tennis Aces.

NES games available on the Nintendo Switch include titles like "The Original Mario Bros: Arcade Classic Series", "Excitebike", "Double Dragon", and more.
