Chen has served as a co-host and moderator on The Talk since the show premiered in 2010.

However, Chen is believed to be maintaining her role as host of "Big Brother".

A CBS spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment Monday night.

Julie Chen is leaving the CBS daytime show The Talk, one week after her husband Les Moonves' ousting from the network amid allegations of sexual misconduct.

Chen is reportedly set to announce she's stepping down as co-host on the U.S. talk show on Tuesday's episode (18 September), according to CNN.

A top PR exec slammed Chen late last week as "complicit" after she signaled support of her accused sexual abuser husband by using his last name when she signed off of Big Brother.

As you may know, the man has already stepped down from his position as CBS' CEO.

"To Sara and Sharon, we have been together since day one at the The Talk", she said. The news of Chen's departure comes a little more than a week after her husband Les Moonves was sacked as CBS' CEO amid a score of sexual misconduct allegations, which he has denied.

The source said her exit will take place sometime in the coming weeks. Leslie's a good man and loving father, a devoted husband and an inspiring corporate leader. She will also hopefully include the news that she will continue hosting Big Brother for the rest of the season at least.

"I want to say that whatever times I've had of hardship over the past eight years, Julie has always been there for me", Osbourne added. #TheTalk cast cry too at Julie's video message as they watch it for the first time from the set of #BigBrother where she deliver the message live.

"He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being", Chen wrote in his defense this summer.

"I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement", she tweeted in June.

"She is definitely leaving "The Talk" and will 100 percent stay with Les", an insider told Page Six.
