Here's the Andrew Luck helmet hit that got Bengal ejected

Now that he's been cleared to resume his career on the field, Andrew Luck let out a little dirty secret in a communique with the NFL Network, who then published a story on the matter.

As it turns out, the speculation was correct. Such a story had been rumored, but never confirmed by the quarterback himself.

That injury came as Luck was rehabilitating after tearing the labrum in the same shoulder in week 3 of the 2015 season against Tennessee. Colts' fans will be happy to hear that Luck has altogether abandoned snowboarding after the injury setback.

"I've had a bunch of AC sprains, both left and right shoulder, and resolved that issue", Luck said to Rapoport.

Luck missed the entire 2017 season as a result of the procedure to fix the labrum tear.

Of course, the next year he suffered a posterior labrum tear that required surgery, which has sidelined him ever since.

The Indianapolis Colts (0-1) will be ready to focus on their next game, but it is important to reflect back and see what was learned during the Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals (1-0). "The labrum is an issue", he said. That long layoff, he insisted, offered perspective.

"It made me realize I love football and I love playing it", Luck said. It stinks when you can't do something.
