8, 2017, photo shows the Apple logo at a store in Miami Beach, Fla. Reports suggest that the new iPhone will be an advanced version of Apple iPhone X released by the company earlier this year.

Apart from that, a CNBC report also claims an analyst from Goldman Sachs says that the cheapest iPhone, called the iPhone 9 in this report, will actually come at a base price of $849 (roughly Rs. 61,500) instead of the previously rumoured $699 (around Rs. 50,600).

Last year, Apple instituted a program to replace out-of-warranty batteries for the iPhone 6 or later for just $29 - a $50 price drop from the usual $79 cost.

The leak also seems to clear up the confusion surrounding that awkward iPhone XS Max name, with the presentation referring to the bigger device by the much more likely moniker of iPhone XS Plus.

Now, it looks like we have some fresh details about Apple's cheapest, 6.1-inch iPhone.

Apple is hosting its annual event on 12th September. It is expected that Apple will follow the trend this year too and release the latest iPhones either on September 21 or September 28. Ming-Chi Kuo predicted in July that the instrument would ship doubtlessly ship in gray, white, blue, purple, and orange case colors.

Lastly, it is predicted that the Apple 2018 iPhone X line up will include an affordable phone, priced somewhere between $500 and $700 and featuring a 6.1-inch LCD screen with facial recognition technology.

The new iPhone family which is soon to be launched will not feature fingerprints scanners.

What's more, there's no information on the new iPhones' specifications, hardware, or software.

According to a Bloomberg report from last November, Apple has been working on a high-end iPad that incorporates some of the features of the iPhone X, like Face ID, no home button, and a almost edge-to-edge display.

Meanwhile the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at £769 for the 64GB storage variant but goes up to £1,249 for customers that want 512GB of storage and a network connection.

The new iPhones are also expected to come with a dual SIM card slot.

Most importantly though, what seemed like an exception a year ago, may have pushed the threshold for what consumers are willing to pay for a smartphone upwards permanently.

Apple is also believed to readying a brand new Apple Watch which will most likely be called the Series 4.

On Tuesday, September 18, we may expect iOS to be launched on older iPhones. Smart Portfolios LLC purchased a new stake in Apple during the first quarter valued at about $134,000.

We know nearly all of the specifications of the 2018 iPhones that are being announced this week, but the names remain something of a mystery.

It is now nearly at the end of the August, but it seems that the Apple will now start to sending the press invitations which will be confirmed within the coming days.
