Titans tight end Delanie Walker had to be carted off the field late in the fourth quarter with a gruesome right leg injury that required an air cast.

With Mariota sidelined, the Titans actually just tied the game at 10 early in the fourth quarter. The Titans and Dolphins have withstood multiple weather delays in this game, and there is still about one quarter left to play.

The game featured two lengthy lightning delays, 1:57 in the second quarter and 2:02 in the third.

After his score, Ryan Tannehill hit Kenny Stills deep for a 75-yard touchdown.

Tannehill completed 20 of 28 passes for 230 yards with two interceptions and two touchdowns.

Miami answered with a 30-yard Jason Sanders field goal to increase its lead to 27-17.

However, the Dolphins came up with a goal-line stand.

The game was unremarkable prior to the delays, with both teams living up to their low preseason expectations in a dud of a matchup the Dolphins led 7-3 prior to play restarting for good with 6:47 left in the third quarter. The 98-yard drive was Miami's longest since 1989.

On Mariota's next throw, he missed high and was picked off by Jones.

Lewan was flattened on Andre Branch's blindside block during an interception return by Jones.

Miami took command of the game with the touchdowns by Grant and Stills. Lewan was removed from the game following the play.

Titans' QB Blaine Gabbert has replaced Marcus Mariota, who has an elbow injury.

Stills iced the Dolphins' win when he torched Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler for a 75-yard touchdown from Tannehill with 10:22 remaining, giving Miami a 24-10 advantage. "The line protected and Ryan threw a great ball down the field and I made a play on the field".
