With exactly a week left until Apple unveils its 2018 iPhones, we learned on Wednesday that the iPhone X Plus version that's finally coming this year will be called iPhone XS Max. However, it turns out that might not be the case after all.

Apple may also release a new version of the Apple Watch with a larger display by reducing the edges around it. Moreover, the expected fall in prices before the new iPhone sales did not happen, but the opposite happened - iPhone X strongly soared in price. The publication has since heard that Apple will likely use the name iPhone Xs Max for the larger 6.5-inch variant. A lot, ranging from probable prices for the next-generation iPhones to their design language and specifications, have been revealed in recent leaks, and more are flowing in. Unfortunately, other than the name, this report doesn't include any additional information just yet.

5-inch OLED iPhone XS will reportedly drop

We could also see these on September 12. So, it is likely that Apple will shelve Macbook Air and might go with just Macbook or Macbook 2018. It also mentioned that the larger OLED phone (known as the "iPhone XS Plus") will price "at a premium to the current iPhone X". Reportedly, new iPhones will have an edge-to-edge display with slim bezels, Face ID and no home button.

Apple is expected to launch its iPhone 2018 lineup at a special event scheduled for September 12 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

A new seven-minute video uploaded by Michael Kukielka on his DetroitBORG YouTube channel featuring a two prototype 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch iPhone XS alongside the iPhone X. It is thought the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Plus will feature a stainless steel core, like the iPhone X, while the iPhone 9 may opt for aluminium.

The 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max - 1 149 euros (about 35 UAH 250).

According to a new leak from SlashLeaks (via Cult of Mac), the 6.1-inch model will come in some new colors, as you can see from the image above. AirPower has yet to be released, but current rumors indicate we will finally have a release date after Apple's event on September 12. Converting to Indian rupees, this comes to Rs 57,364 for the iPhone Xs, Rs 71,723 for the iPhone Xs Max and Rs 50,184 for the iPhone 9. Additionally, both the phones are said to come with a Retina display, but we don't really know the exact resolution yet.

It's always been true that iPhones hold their value much better than Android devices, so that isn't surprising; what is is that the iPhone X lost almost the same amount in value, when measured in simple dollars, as other iPhones.

The two OLED-screened phones are likely to come in black, white and gold, according to noted Apple analyst formerly at KGI Securities, now at TF International Securities, which tallies with what 9to5Mac also claims.
