Margot Robbie reveals Sharon Tate costume from Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Manson movie

Then along came Margot Robbie posting a snap at herself playing Sharon Tate in the upcoming drama (above).

It's more than just the magic of movies: Margot Robbie looks like an uncanny match for Sharon Tate, the woman she plays in an upcoming biopic.

The Academy Award nominated actress shared a photo Monday morning on Instagram dressed in a black long-sleeved turtleneck, a white skirt and white leather boots.


Tarantino's movie, which features Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick, an actor, and Brad Pitt as his stunt double, Cliff, was originally slated to come out on August 9, 2019.

Sharon Tate was an American model and actor who was married to director Roman Polanski, and was eight-and-a-half-months pregnant with their son when she was brutally murdered alongside four others in her LA home by the Manson Family. Tarantino has previously stated that the Manson murders aren't the main focus of the film, claiming: "It's not Charles Manson, it's 1969".

One thing we do know is that the unbelievable cast will also include Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Clifton Collins, Luke Perry, and Burt Reynolds.


He also described the film as "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood".

The film's storyline, set against the backdrop of the Manson Family murders, casts Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as Hollywood has-beens looking for a way back on top in the 1960s. DiCaprio plays Rick Dalton, the former star of a western TV series, while Pitt portrays Cliff Booth, his longtime stunt double.
