Google's Pixel 3 might come with a pair of wired Pixel Buds

Another new tidbit we learned from these images is that Google is apparently planning on including a pair of Pixel Buds-esque headphones in the box, but these will be wired.

Sure, the notch on the iPhone X might be wider, but the one on the Pixel 3 XL is nearly 2x more deep which makes it look pretty awkward.

Though we don't expect to see the rumored Google Pixel 3 introduced officially until this fall, we may have gotten a sneak preview from a Ukrainian Telegram user.

Google Pixel 3 release date could be October 4, 2018, according to a screenshot shared by YouTuber Brandon Lee from This Is Tech Today channel (Google Pixel 2 / Bloomberg). Both the handsets are rumoured to sport a single rear camera and dual selfie cameras. But it's not as if Google has much reason to change what the device comes with.

You can also catch a quick unboxing video for the Pixel 3 XL through the source link, but it mostly focuses on the contents of the box and not enough on the phone.

Starting with the phone itself, the images once again show a device with a sizeable chin and a thick display notch.

One of the pictures gives us a spec readout, which includes a 2960×1440 display, 4GB of RAM, and a Qualcomm SoC that looks like a match for the Snapdragon 845. Thanks to the way Android 9 Pie works, you usually get two actual icons and a third "overflow" icon indicating that you have more icons to look at. They appear to be USB-C headphones, but with that very familiar Pixel Buds design.

From what is known so far, Google's upcoming Pixel lineup is likely to be comprised of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, successors to last year's Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. In-box accessories can vary from country to country, so if you are that interested in pack-in Google headphones, make sure they come with the version shipping in your territory.
