Fahrenheit 11/9 Trailer: Michael Moore Explores America Under Trump

Notably, in the trailer Moore is seen delivering a tankload of water from Flint, Michigan, to the home of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. The doc, a sort of sequel to Moore's anti-W film Fahrenheit 9/11 is set to hit theaters September 21, a date chosen by Moore to spread the anti-Trump word before the mid-term elections.

This film will be Moore's second film about the president.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is working on a new Donald Trump documentary that calls the president the last democratically-elected leader America will ever have. He hopes this film will "end the madness" that people seem content to let continue. The date refers to when Trump was declared victor of the 2016 election: November 9th.

Moore also described Trump as "the last president of the United States".

It's the latest offering from Moore aimed directly at the effect of Trump following on from his filmed one-man talk Michael Moore in TrumpLand and his Broadway show The Terms of My Surrender.

In the trailer we see Moore, visibly whipped up, meeting with both Parkland activists as well as rising influential politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The "Fahrenheit 11/9" footage also shows Moore speaking to David Hogg, the activist student who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018, and progressive Democratic Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who won a stunning victory in the primary earlier this summer.

Additionally, the film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival first next month, before the wider release date of September 21. This puts us all in grave danger.

He added that: "If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out". "Hope, and the passivity that comes with it, is what helped get us here to begin with".
