Here are his thoughts on the new handset.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 alleged specifications The Galaxy Note 9 has been in the news for quite a while and has faced too many leaks. Like other Galaxy phones, the Note 9 is water resistant, and features an infinity displayand wireless charging. "Note fans are Samsung's most loyal; we know they want it all, to get the most out of work and play, and Galaxy Note 9 is the only phone that can keep up with their busy lives".

Matt notes that the entry level model is a $70 price increase over the Note 8's launch price.

Unlike old DeX phones, however, plugging the Note 9 into a display doesn't prevent you from using the phone as a phone. One such skin goes along with Samsung's "Galaxy" theme. Despite sporting a slightly larger 6.4-inch display - the Note 8 had a 6.3-inch screen instead - it doesn't feel that much bigger than its predecessor.

Last year's Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was a great addition to the Note series. The Note 8 had dimensions of 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6mm.

The Galaxy Note 9 128 GB will be the easiest to find.

TechRadar's hands-on review notes that the Note 9 is comfortable to hold thanks to less rounded-off design.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users won't just get exclusive access to Fortnite Mobile. All Galaxy Watches come with a 470mAh battery - a decent step up from the Gear S3's 380mAh cell - which Samsung claims will last up to seven days on a charge.

Currently, if you play Fortnite on a console like the PS4, you might inadvertently be playing against keyboard and mouse players, while yourself using a controller. Unlocked versions will be sold at Samsung's store, Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, Target, Walmart, and more.

A dual 12-megapixel camera system matching that on Samsung's Galaxy S9+, including its variable aperture lens and a 2x optical zoom camera, is mounted in the back of the Note 9.

As for the camera we're getting the same horizontal dual camera layout as the Note 9, albeit with a fingerprint scanner below the lenses. It also has an 8MP f/1.7 front-facing camera, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

In terms of notable camera system features, the Note 9 allows for AR stickers, Super Slow Motion video at 960 fps at 720p, and wide group selfies. These are existing Galaxy Note users who are totally hooked to the S Pen.

So, there you have it.

One add-on Note 9 buyers might be particularly interested in, given the cost of the phone, is Samsung Premium Care.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, but while the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has now been updated to Android 8.0, it started on Android 7.

That does mean the Note 8 has a marginally higher pixel density of 521 pixels per inch to the Note 9's 516, but it's a difference we'd challenge anyone to notice.
