One of TMZ's sources, said: "She could die if she doesn't, and that's not going to be on my watch that we did nothing".

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer still wasn't doing well last weekend, days after being taken the hospital, People reported earlier this week, but she was still expected to make a full recovery.

The 25-year-old singer's staff flew into a state of panic when they found her lying on the floor at her home in Los Angeles, California, last week following a suspected overdose.

After hearing the assistant screaming "she's dead, she's dead", a bodyguard is said to have rushed to the room and administered first aid, reportedly clearing Lovato's airway to allow her to breathe until paramedics arrived and administered Narcan.

More sources have apparently come forward claiming that Demi's family raised the issue of rehab with the singer directly, but waited until she was in the clear with her health.

But Lovato - who revealed in new track Sober in June that she had relapsed after five years of sobriety - is "serious about her sobriety", and will "do whatever it takes" to get sober.

It's unclear what drug or drugs she was using that night, as Lovato was reportedly uncooperative with authorities after she was revived at the scene.

"Her family has been pushing for her to get treatment in a center".

Lovato has talked openly before about her struggle with substance abuse.

"Right now everyone is focused on getting Demi physically healthy", a source close to Lovato told People a few days ago.
