Aretha Franklin funeral set for August 31 in Detroit

Following Aretha Franklin's death, the tributes have been pouring in.

The 76-year-old music legend, who died on Thursday, influenced generations of singers with unforgettable hits including "Respect" (1967), "Natural Woman" (1968) and "I Say a Little Prayer" (1968).

And, by the way, though her Swift comment stole the entire show, we also have to give honorable mention to what the queen said about Nicki Minaj: "Hmmm, I'm going to pass on that one".

In the case of Franklin, Trump was claiming "some type of bond" with the singer, Ritz said.

Sources said that Franklin had "finally listened to her boys". The museum was also the site of the public viewing for civil-rights activist Rosa Parks, who died in 2005.
