According to a statement the BBC obtained from a DJI spokesman, the catalog also only shows a "hint" of what will be on offer with the new drones.

The description from the Argos catalog calls out some other specifications as well, including 1080p video transmission with a transmission distance of up to five miles. The existing Mavic Pro drone is priced around $1,100, but it's anyone's guess if these two new models will be sold alongside it or replace it. DJI was originally supposed to hold a launch event earlier this month, but it was abruptly delayed with no update since then. The catalog shows off two versions of the Mavic 2: the Mavic 2 Pro, and Mavic 2 Zoom.

Both models are said to be capable of 31 minutes of flight time and a top speed of nearly 45mph, along with the ability to transmit live 1080p video to distances up to 5 miles.

Just because Argos has accidentally printed an ad for the Mavic 2 doesn't mean the launch of the new DJI drone is imminent. The current Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro Platinum only have downward and forward facing obstacle detection.

The BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones tested the original Mavic Pro with film-maker Philip Bloom in 2016. Omnidirectional obstacle sensing with APAS and Active Track 2.0 give you the confidence to take to sky and capture your moment.

The "Zoom" version will have a 2x optical zoom lens (24-48mm equiv) and the ability to do dolly zooms.

DroneDJ reports that an "Enterprise" edition of the DJI Mavic 2 has also been spotted on the German DJI website.

However, no mention has been made of the rumored removable gimbal or the maximum video recording quality - we can only assume it will follow in the footsteps of the Mavic Air and the Mavic Pro and feature 4K shooting.

There's no pricing information in the Argos catalog, but we'd be surprised if these new Mavic Pros came in at under $1,000.

Leaked last week and now confirmed by DJI to CNET, the Mavic 2 is real, and it's going to come in two very different formats.
