Downloading a game from online storefronts like Steam or the Xbox Live Marketplace is the modern equivalent of waiting for your modem to connect to the internet circa 1998: They're both long, arduous processes that we all know can happen much faster than they do.

During E3, Microsoft unveiled FastStart for Xbox One, a feature that optimizes downloads so you can start playing before the download finishes. To try it out, find a FastStart-enabled title in the catalog and press "Download".

FastStart works by applying machine learning to identify which parts of the game are required for full-fledged gameplay.

Anyone who has already purchased Darwin Project via Xbox Game Preview will be gifted a Founder's Pack, which features in-game cosmetic items including two legendary sets that each contain a shirt, pants, armour, helmet and boots ensemble, three legendary axes, three legendary bows, a jumpsuit collection and 10 fan gifts.

This feature is now enabled for English-language titles in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, and Microsoft plans to expand it to "more games in more languages over time", Hryb wrote.

Also, Groups are finally available.

With the July Update, Microsoft is making it easier to search on your Xbox.

Additionally, Mixer streamers can now go full-screen with their webcam when broadcasting. This allows multiple controls to be used at the same time! Hitting Y while on the Dashboard will immediately bring up the search dialog. It remains to be seen whether that version will also disappear, or whether the Xbox One version will reappear after possibly being accidentally removed.

The game has been undergoing some big changes since it left the Xbox Preview Program, including the addition of Duo mode, invite a friend options, private matches, the Glider tool, skill-based matchmaking, and five new Show Director powers.
